RMEA provides a range of hydrologic services to our clients, but our specialties include: Flow Measurements and Surface Water Studies. Services for Non-Profits and Conservation Realtors. Water Quality Studies. Groundwater Supply Evaluations, Aquifer Testing, Well Design. Flow Measurements and Surface Water Studies: RMEA frequently conducts surface water studies for a variety of clients, from small property owners who need to have their stream flow or irrigation flows measured, to large-scale evaluations of surface water and groundwater hydrology, sometimes involving entire watersheds. Services for Non-Profits and Conservation Realtors: RMEA supports the conservation of our precious environmental resources and considers eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming to be one of the greatest places in the U.S. for outdoor recreation. We conduct a range of services in support of regional conservation non-profits and conservation-oriented real estate firms. Our clients include Trout Unlimited, the Teton Regional Land Trust, Friends of the Teton River, The Nature Conservancy, Live Water Properties, and Beartooth Capital. Water Quality Studies: Many of RMEAs projects involve water quality sampling and analysis. Our staff have many years experience in this area. John Rice managed and conducted a basin-wide water quality monitoring program in Teton Valley from 2003 through 2006. Katy McKinley managed and conducted water quality monitoring projects at both abandoned and active mine sites throughout Idaho during her tenure with IDEQ. RMEA maintains a wide range of groundwater and surface water sampling and in-field analytical equipment. Groundwater Supply Evaluations, Aquifer Testing, and Well Design: RMEA has conducted numerous groundwater supply projects throughout the region. These projects have included the location of high-yield wells sites, aquifer testing, permitting, and well design. Recently, RMEA entered into a teaming agreement with Dr. Thomas Wood of Clearwater Geosciences to work together on groundwater supply-related projects. Dr. Wood is a recognized regional expert in the groundwater field, and, together with the staff and experience of RMEA, this partnership offers unmatched capabilities in groundwater services. |
